A description of the experience
At the Hour of death – Dr Karlis Osis and Dr Erlendur Haraldsson
She kept uttering words. I listened because the relatives thought she wanted to tell me something.
She told me her mother, who had died many years before had come, calling her to accompany her to the land of God. When I told this to her relatives, they asked me to tell her not to go. They took this as a bad omen; that she was dying and nothing could be done.
The patient said she was going and seemed happy about it
‘I am going; mother is calling me. I am going to the land of God’.
These were her last words. Before this experience, the patient had expected to recover
