There is an interesting connection here which we have enabled you to explore by providing a link, between the idea of 'upside-downess' - being born or being material and the Hanged Man. A baby, when it is born, comes out head first - hence the expression.
A description of the experience
The Lotus sutra – translated by Burton Watson
All phenomena
are empty, without being,
without any constant abiding,
without arising or extinction.
This I call the position
the wise person associates himself with.
From upside-downness come distinctions,
that phenomena exist, do not exist,
are real, are not real,
are born, are not born.
