Beach head - beauty spot though it is - has become a favourite place for suicides. I wrote this after having visited it alone, not realising this before I went, it came as something of a shock at the time.

On Beachy head
The chaplain walked across the grass
Where lives had come to make lives past
The grey the cold the wind the rain
Where they had fallen once again
The crosses, flowers lined the path
What people do, the aftermath
