B J Laubscher – Where Mystery dwells
"The Children of the Sun” by W. J. Perry, M.A. who was reader in cultural anthropology at the University of London, contains research and clear thinking of the highest order.
We find from his investigations that the adoration of the sun was spread almost all over the world, even to the tribes of North America and to the borders of Lake Superior. When the Aryan speaking people invaded India they found that the rulers of the Asuras and Nagas claimed that they were descendents of the Children of the Sun. They were originally divine beings and incarnations, so they believed, of the Sun-God himself.
These differed from the kings of the Aryans who merely believed that they had divine descent. But even in America the earliest kings were said to have descended from the sun as offspring of the Sun-God.
