28 The Ditches of Blood
I saw one night the presence of the Truth, who is transcendent, and he took me and slaughtered me. Much blood poured from my neck, and all the ditches filled up with my blood. My blood was like the shining of the rising sun, greater than the regions of the heavens and the earth. Crowds of angels took my blood and anointed their faces with it.
