Background
Yet another lesson Whiteman received that he didn't bother to try to unravel. They are trying to tell him is being hobbled by his Intellect - he is trying to be clever and failing. They are trying to tell him that he needs to hobble the right side and left brain and he will be a child again and happy and capable of understanding and being spiritually aware.
It was symbolic.
It is not an out of body, it is a lesson so the 'separation' he tries to pin on this is meaningless.
He didn't understand.
A description of the experience
The Mystical Life – J H M Whiteman
(April 17, 1951) In a fuIl separation, the preliminaries of which were not noted, a small boy aged about 5 years appeared suddenly in front. He had a roundish face and a mop of hair standing out from the head.
His right foot appeared to be clubbed.
Filled with compassionate horror at the deformity and with a desire to help, I held him close in love. A happy look came into his face as I did so, and he smiled up at me.
