I just had one of these experiences last night, and after some early morning research found this site and figured I'd share my experience. I was halfway between sleep and wakefulness when I felt a solid presence that felt like a hand on my left shoulder. I groggily turned around, still only half conscious, and saw a figure with a long black hood obscuring it's face staring directly at me. It soundlessly drew closer to my face and just stared directly at me. Then it disappeared after I gasped and screamed (which fully awoke me). This whole experience lasted only a fraction of a second, but it scared the crap out of me so bad I couldn't go to sleep for an hour and a half afterward. |
