Symbols - What does heaven look like
Well
Symbolically the same as a tunnel.
The symbol of the wishing well is derived from that of the well – from above we are symbolically throwing ‘treasure’ from the spiritual world down to the physical world – we are hoping for spiritual input.
You may be interested in the page on this site for the symbolism of Well dressing.
