Symbols - What does heaven look like

Twenty two

Two and two is IIII – four pillars.  Twenty two is the end of the number system and is thus also the end of an old era.  It may or may not be the beginning of a new era/increment of evolution.  In a practical sense, if it is a changeover period, it is a time of considerable change, much destruction followed by the introduction of much that is new.

In those systems that use this nomenclature, whereas Alpha [1] is the beginning, Omega [22] is symbolically ‘the End’.

There is the added symbolism that 22 = 10 + 12

Thus perfection achieved through the Great Work, - completion through to perfection of a cycle of the wheel of change.

This can apply to anything - a business, a world system or a person on the spiritual path.  The Fool or The Jester is one of the 78 cards in a Tarot deck; one of the 22 Trump cards that make up the Major Arcana. The Fool is unnumbered; sometimes represented as 0 (the first) or more generally  XXII (the last) Major Arcana in decks.

Thus a Fool is a person who has achieved perfection through the Great Work, - completion of their destiny and completion through to perfection of a cycle of the wheel of change.
