In a short time the end of an era
And each day disaster looms nearer
Before it was puffing
And now it is nuffing
Disaster for us that is clear (er!)
No cafes, no bars, public places
Just rows of old smokers’ glum faces
Not a trace of a fag
Fact no hope of a drag
Just millions of hopeless head cases
So its boiled sweets and mints and raw carrot
Beer and wine and perhaps the odd parrot
Chew on nails, chew on rat
Chew on crisps, [put on fat]
The alternatives haven’t much merit
So you do-gooders there in the warm
Think of us, there outside, in the storm
With the flu and a cough
Dragging fags - no don’t scoff
Cos the smoke may not get you but we’ll make damn sure the germs do – so there!!!!
