after going on the medication merry-go-round I ended up with NORVASC. starting with twice daily 5mg. life became a hell with serious side effects. to add insult to injury I'm suffering now from hallucinations which causing a serious upset in my marriage! I've reduced myself to 2.5mg in the morning and 5 mg at night and I intend to half that again.
beats me why the medical profession does not wnat to recognise these serious side effects and bombard patients with psychiatric pills to combat something so simple, start senior patients - I'm 76 - on the lowest dose and stress that they have to change their lifestyle. google the NORVAC results and wonder why blood pressure pills are a potential killer and keep the pharmaceutical industry rolling at a very high cost.!
