The Eye of the Wind
Man must survive on the earth. Scientists must help him to do so-help him not to exterminate himself, help him to get his food, help to alleviate his sufferings, help to increase his happiness.
But to what end ?
Just so that his species can survive, not blow itself up, not starve, feel less pain, live more happily?
Surely this is not enough. Surely he must evolve, aspire, explore, in order to justify his survival. He must search perpetually for Truth in order to satisfy his soul.
