95  Caresses and Removal of Doubts

Then God drew me near to him, and opened for me the room of union. I was like a child in the room of his mother. He caressed me with the caress of the beloved for a lover. Then the crashing of the oceans of oneness seized me, and he annihilated me with his powerful greatness. The Most High said,

 "It is I; do not doubt me. The mighty Lord is your God and the God of all creation. Are you worried about the likeness you thought of? That is the vision of me and the unveiling of my majesty to you."

Then I saw myself in the land of God most high, and in the cities of the hidden. I saw in every place the unveiling of God most high in the clothing of beauty and loveliness.

When he returned me to the world of the hidden, he made me see what he made me see.
