I haven't shared my out of body experience with many people, but it happened to me when I was younger and it is a memory that is very, very clear to me. It's stuck with me up until now. I think I had to have been less than 10 years old and I had to get one of my molars removed, so they put me under for the procedure. I was scared, because I had never been under anesthesia before, but I only accepted it especially because they gave me laughing gas beforehand (doesn't everyone love that stuff?!). While I was under, I didn't have any dream until all of a sudden I felt my eyes start to open. The problem was, my eyes seemed to be in the back of my throat. I saw the WHOLE procedure going on in my mouth. I heard the dentist and the assistants. Everything they said. I felt them taking out my tooth, only to a point though. I tried wiggling and mumbling to tell them that I was awake! But, it didn't even work. Then, all of a sudden my eyes closed. I was in a room with a door. And, after I opened the door and entered, I heard the nurse saying my name. 

I've always wanted to have another OBE, but I keep trying to force it. Usually I see these things happen to friends and strangers when they least expect it. I should stop trying so hard. It was terrifying, but something I want to see again!
