A description of the experience

Out of the Body Experiences – Celia Green

PERSON A - I was lying on top of my bed after a 2 hour sleep, I had woken up, but could not move or even open my eyes, then I remember a dreadful noise came into my head so loud it was deafening, then a very loud popping noise came from my head and I seemed to shoot out of my head and went up in the air, then turned round and looked down at my self fully clothed lying on top of the bed

PERSON B - I would lie in bed reading, and then quite suddenly I would have the physical experience of becoming stiff. I would try to move, but the experience was so unpleasant that I felt if I relaxed I would be able to come out of this – whatever it was – more quickly, however, by doing this I found that I appeared to be floating around, I could see myself lying in bed reading, then I would again suddenly be able to move

PERSON C - When I am returning to my body, for a few minutes, I cannot move a muscle, my brain is telling me to move but I just can't, then all of a sudden my body responds to what my brain is telling it to do, everything is back to normal again

The source of the experience
