Background

More symbolism in a paragraph than most poets manage in a complete poem!  The smith is the creator figure, the pyramid is a cone of energy.  The rainbow is symbolic of the level and layers.  Thus in effect the act of creation placed each [physical] thing with its cone of energy within the egg and the thread of creation spiralled out from there.  The granary [hourglass] then continued creating things around the Egg…..

Without losing a moment the smith flung the truncated pyramid along a rainbow.  The edifice stood without turning on itself, and the thread unwound in serpentine coils suggesting the movement of water….. The granary then pursued its course along the rainbow, but its speed increased owing to the impetus given by the thunder…
