I have placed this in the tarot section as Eliphas Levi's card of the Devil is intended to show the need to burn off the dross of demons! The Devil has Solve et Coagula on each arm.
Mudvayne are a heavy metal band they can be found on youtube.
During the mid stages of the spiritual path there can be rebirth by fire or some other fairly traumatic form of visionary experience. It is followed by a period of purification occasionally symbolised by water – hence the use of the fish symbolism in the Wirth card or Fire as one rises through the level of Fire.
So we might more correctly interpret all the Tarot cards of the Devil as the tethering or removal of evil processes – demons - in order to progress further.
