I was having teeth out by a dentist in London and was under gas. I heard the most wonderful orchestral music such as I have never heard before or since, There was no earthly music being played or relayed there. When I came out of the gas and told the dentist of the marvellous music I had heard, he jokingly said that he would have to charge me extra tor that.
Mrs. Mitchell also wrote that she "had neither interest nor knowledge of psychic things" at the time of the experience. Mrs. Mitchell did not feel the experience to be a religious one.
