Poor little guy. That's exactly what happened to me, although it was measles. I was vaccinated. But got a full fledged measles attack, complete with what you described above plus in my mouth, hallucinations, head-banging apparently etc. Doctor at the time, to my grandma who was caring for me upon saying "But she was vaccinated!" said "She must have had a bad dose." WTF?
