A description of the experience

T C Lethbridge – Ghost and Ghoul

How does our cat know unerringly where we are when he wants his twenty-fourth meal of the day ? It is dark and he is out in the garden somewhere on his own affairs. Suddenly he feels hungry. He cannot see or hear us. He does not go round the house howling at each door and window in turn. He goes straight to the room where he knows telepathically that we are. Even if his back is turned to you and he is a hundred yards away, watching for mice in the sunlight, directly you see and think of him, he knows it. He turns round to look at you and, if the mousing is slow, he will saunter up and talk for a moment or two. This is all the same thing; the employment of a natural force which has not been properly investigated.
