"The visions which I see are symbolic and they vary from time to time.
On occasions I have seen balls of light extremely bright, and then again I would sit in a room and it would become misty and greyish, while at other times I would see the back of some person for a moment. I have heard groaning as well, so that I do not only see things. On one occasion the groaning was followed within two days by the death of my beloved grandfather as well as that of my uncle.
"Once while boarding with some people in Vereeniging I went home for a weekend to my parents on the farm and while there on the Saturday afternoon I saw a picture like a cinematograph of a truck being driven by someone and I saw a child fall off it, followed by a mattress as if they were flying through the air. The next day when I arrived at Vereeniging my landlady informed me that they had gone camping and a child and a mattress had fallen off the truck exactly as I had seen it happen."
