Laubscher, B J F – A premonition of the dangers of an illicit diamond deal
Identifier

Type of Spiritual Experience
Background
We have no idea whether it would have been dangerous or not, as the man didn’t go ahead, and illicit diamond deals are dangerous by their very nature, but she did get the description of the man right and although we don’t know how many illicit diamond dealers are to be found in holes with their front teeth missing, it can’t be that many.
Predicting a birth is not prophecy – it is counting!!!
A description of the experience
B J Laubscher – Where Mystery dwells
Mrs. Pieterse writing in Afrikaans.
"I am one of those people who see coming events and have had precognitive experiences since my childhood years. I see these things so frequently that I consider them as part of the normal function of my mind. Many of these I understand immediately but others have a complex symbolism which I cannot explain.
For instance the simple ones concern illnesses and births. I have precognitive impressions, sometimes weeks beforehand. But most of my experiences of this nature are visions of events. I see them in broad daylight as they displace what else I am looking at, and the vision is as clear and life-like as a cinema film. I have seen horse races being run hundreds of miles away.
I want to impress upon you that I do not dream these things, and I have no dream experiences of a precognitive nature at all. In these visions the events are taking place in broad daylight just as they happen weeks or months later.
Some years ago someone whom I knew well, who has since died, decided he was going to buy some diamonds from the illicit dealers. When I was told in secret about his plans I warned him because at that moment I saw a native man standing in a hole in the ground; he had some front teeth missing and I knew he was a trap. In spite of my warnings my friend nevertheless went to do the deal. He was directed to a native whom he found standing in a hole in the ground. He told the native to open his mouth and there he saw several of his front teeth missing. At that moment he thought of my warning and the correct description of the native so he left the diamond buying alone. I have had many other experiences but I thought that this practical one of an attempt at illicit diamond buying seen a few weeks before the time would interest you.
