Livsbåten
Snart är du död och vet ej att du glider på livets båt bort mot de andra landen där morgon väntar dig på dolda stränder.
Oroas ej. Räds ej i uppbrottstimman. En vänlig hand lugnt ordnar båtens segel, som för dig bort från kvällens land till dagens. Gå utan ängslan ner i strandens tystnad, den mjuka stigen genom skymningsgräset.

The boat of life
Soon you’ll be dead and not know you are gliding upon life’s boat away towards the other lands where morning waits for you on hidden shores.
Don’t be afraid. Fear not the hour of parting. A friendly hand calmly trims the boat’s sail that takes you from the evening land to that of day. Walk without apprehension down the soft path through the twilight grass.
