When I was 3 yrs. old I was travelling in my dad's car in the back seat.
My mom and dad were in the front.
In those days seat belts had not been invented yet.
I told my dad I wanted to go home.
He told me, "we weren't going home" even tho. we really were. (he was teasing me)
I decided I was going home (no matter what anyone said) so I pulled up on the door handle.
Appearently, I fell out of the car onto a gravel road and rolled down a hill into an apple orchard.
All I remember is waking up in the hospital in a corner of the ceiling looking down at a little girl who was screaming her head off
as 4 or 5 doctors were using tweezers to remove small rocks and pebbles from her head.
I figured out after watching intently that the little girl screaming was me!
I found that surprising.
God saved me for a purpose...possibly to have 3 children and/or 4 grandchildren but I believe it was so I could love and learn all about Him.
