Eyebright - The Healing power of herbs – Ceres Esplan
Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis),Casse-lunettes, Peewits, Clear-eye. This wild plant has small white flowers with purple stripes and yellow flecks.
It appears in chalky pastures and has always been associated with being helpful for inflammation of the eyes. A diluted infusion of lotion of the whole herb is superb for clearing the eyes and strengthening them.
Eyebright should not be used internally
It is included here purely as an eye bathing lotion maker.
