Background

A description of the experience

Professor Ernesto Bozzano - The parapsychological manifestations of animals - 130 cases proving animal mediumistic abilities

Case 3. - (In a dream.) - I take the following case from Mr. Flammarion's book: "The unknown and psychological problems".

I can mention one more personal fact that shocked me a lot when it happened to me, but, since this time it is a dog, perhaps I am wrong to take up too much of your time. I apologize by asking myself where the troubles end.

At the time, I was a young girl, and I often had a surprising lucidity in my dreams. We had a dog of unusual intelligence: it was particularly attached to me, although I caressed it very rarely. One night, I dreamt that it had died, and that it looked at me with human eyes. When I woke up, I told my sister: "Lione is dead; I dreamed it; that's for sure."

My sister laughed and didn't believe me. We rang the maid and asked her to call Lione. We call her, she does not come. We look everywhere for her, and finally find her dead in a corner. But the day before, she was not sick, and my dream had not been caused by anything.

Mrs. R. Lacassagne, née Dutant (Castres).
