Case No. 320 - Joseph Watkins sent this (in litt., Oct.4, 1960):
During my illness, I was completely 'fed up' ... Yet got out of bed feeling fit-I couldn't understand it! Imagine my surprise when I tried to get back into bed and I saw myself, lying there snoring. I looked down and wondered whether that fleshly body could really be me-I was disgusted ...
I yelled at the top of my voice, but nobody seemed to hear me. ... I began to think of my [deceased] mother and other loved ones whom I should leave behind, when I found myself in bed, wide awake in the flesh, wondering what it was all about. It was no dream. In my opinion, it was another dimension.
I am convinced that we have more than one body.
