Background
A description of the experience
Propofol marketed as Diprivan, is a short-acting, intravenously administered hypnotic/amnestic agent. Its uses include the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia, sedation for mechanically ventilated adults, and procedural sedation. Propofol is also commonly used in veterinary medicine. Propofol is also used for procedural sedation, for example during endoscopic procedures. Because of its fast induction and recovery time, propofol is also widely used for sedation of infants and children undergoing MRI [sic]. It is also often used in combination with ketamine as the two together have lower rates of side effects [sic].
On Nov, 19, 2015: 4,551 people reported to have side effects when taking Diprivan. Among them, 8 people (0.18%) have Hallucination.
