A description of the experience

Out of the Body Experiences – Celia Green

I was seated at the tea table with my family about 5pm on an autumn afternoon.  My mother or father suddenly reminded me that I should be at my music lesson, so I hurriedly collected my music case and rushed out of the front door and out of the gate on to a wet pavement which was strewn with leaves.

What I thought: I must hurry.  I must be careful.  It would be awful if I slipped on one of those leaves and fell.  Vivid picture of my prostrate body on the pavement outside the house, while 'I' sped along the road almost reaching the corner of the block

What actually happened as told to me later:  My parents watched me leave the house, they saw me fall, then my mother said 'She's not getting up'.  My father got out to me and I heard him say to another person who had crossed the road to help me 'I'll take her, I'm her father'
