A description of the experience

A premonition [1978] – Blithe spirit

I see them, I see them, I see them I do
It’s the start of the ending of this that and who
Of the always and everything, this much I know
It will be all things for everyone now that’s its so

Come closer, you’ll see if I whisper quite low
That its not the hereafter that makes things be so
It’s the now of the present, the answer is that
We are here and we have it, we have it for fact

Ah quickly enjoy it, I know that they’ll pass
And all things will be things not as now, clear as glass
So transparent and open that I feel strangely free
We’ll lose it, I know it, when they’re gone from me

I’ll tell you my secret, they will come again
And together we’ll share what they brought me in vain
The first time, for only I see what they do
But next time, ah next time, you’ll see, you’ll see too
