A description of the experience

Love is the Link – Dr Pamela Kircher

Another man told of an experience that occurred in a near-drowning experience when he was a five-year-old. He had remembered it since childhood. He remembers slipping into a hole in the ocean floor that had a terrific undertow. He struggled at first; but when he took his first gulp of water and felt the sea water in his nose and mouth, he suddenly lost all feeling of panic as he felt himself lifting out of his body and being surrounded by a loving Light. He felt entirely at peace with no sensation of any pain whatsoever. The next thing he remembered was the feeling of the sand grinding into his chest as someone pumped the ocean water out of his lungs. He felt perfectly miserable then, in contrast to the feeling of painless peace that he had felt the moment before. Since that time, he has devoted his life to a spiritual search and is currently part of a religious community.
