So the universe is working through us all, and yet there is a flip flop; in order to reach whatever goal the universe and we as part of the universe are seeking, we have to take responsibility for our own evolution at the same time that we know we are evolving the way the universe wants us to. In one sense you have to strive; in another sense you have to stop striving.
It’s a very complex interplay of willing and not willing.
