Lisinopril   - is an ACE inhibitor, not metabolised by the liver, It is marketed worldwide as Prinivil ,  Tensopril ,  Zestril  and Hipril.. Like other ACE inhibitors, it is derived from the venom of the jararaca, a Brazilian pit viper (Bothrops jaraca).
