I found similar reliable stories of ‘hauntings’ for places such as

To name but a few. And similar evidence turned up for stones that had perceptions. For each of the following stones for example, there are myths or records of ‘event replay’. That is that under very specific circumstances a person or people are able to get the perceptions replayed:

A description of the experience

Abbey House in Cambridge is a 16th century construction close to the ruins of an Augustinian priory. For the last hundred and thirty years it has been occupied by faculty members and the university, all of whom have reported strange and sinister experiences.
A classical scholar at Pembroke College moved into the house in 1903.
He reported that on a dozen occasions he had both heard and seen a woman dressed in a dark robe like a nun’s habit. His wife got so used to being stared at from the foot of her bed that she described the robed figure as ‘very tiresome’ and their son said ‘I used to be afraid of her when I was little, but I’m not now’.
The nun was seen again in the 1920s by a law student, in the 1940s by several children, during the 1950s by two health visitors who were housed there and in the 1960s by a teenage girl.
The last reported sighting was in 1980, by an elderly lady who said the visitor formed part of a procession of nun like figures, all similarly dressed. All these encounters took place between midnight and dawn, occasionally by moonlight, sometimes as often as 3 or 4 times a month and most frequently during February and March.
