Background

A description of the experience

Salbutamol - or Albuterol  is a short-acting B2-adrenergic receptor agonist used for the relief conditions such as asthma. It is used a great deal in the UK. It is also known by the trade Ventolin , Aerolin or Ventorlin; Asthalin and Asthavent Proventil  and ProAir. Salbutamol was the first selective ?2-receptor agonist to be marketed — in 1968. The drug was an instant success, and has been used for the treatment of asthma ever since. Statistically – given its high level of use, - the number of hallucinations is medically insignificant, but for our purposes it is relevant.
