Sadly we have no record of what illness this man had or what had happened to him, but this is classical rebirth with fire being used as the symbolic cleanser of demons. He thinks he was going 'down' but I think he was going 'up' - he will be have no conception of up or down since this is a realm of no gravity
A description of the experience
Margot Grey – Return from Death
I was going down, down into the earth. There was anger and I felt this horrible fear. Everything was grey. The noise was fearsome, with snarling and crashing like maddened wild animals, gnashing their teeth. I knew where I was without having to ask. I was in hell. There was this terrible feeling of being lost. It wasn't all fire and brimstone like we were taught. I remember this feeling of coldness.
There were other things there whirling about. And there were two beings of some kind near me. I believe one was evil, maybe the Devil. He was the force that was tugging me deeper and deeper down into that awful place. I felt enveloped by dark, black evil.
I remember frantically trying to put this two piece jigsaw together. I had to get it done or suffer some terrible, nameless punishment. You don't hear any words, you sense it all. Well there was no way this puzzle would fit and I remember being in a panic.
…......... then I felt I was rushing through the black void again. I opened my eyes and my wife and the doctors were leaning over me telling me everything was going to be alright.
