Exasperating recird keeping here, as Mrs Garrett makes a prophecy, but we do not know whether it came about. This is all mind reading, but it would mean that Dr Thomas's Higher spirit whose perceptions she is reading, knows more about what may happen in the future than he does.

It had been Mr. T.'s intention to visit this locality, the place of his ancestors, in Wales, but he gave it up because of lack of time. He does not believe he told anybody either of the project or its abandonment. There are several statements in different records about “a journey put off," or that " she is glad he has decided to give all the time to this," and then, finally, through Mrs. Garrett, on May 12, Mr. T.'s final sitting, there is this:
"She tells to me please-I do not know if you remember anything to do with your youth at all, as though there is almost a westerly condition in some way. She wished you had been able to go there; that was the only difficulty. 'I wanted to talk of it tonight to you but was not able.' She is referring, I think, please, to some place beginning with the initial C having a bearing upon your youth. I do not know if it is Cardoo-Cardon-Car-

How you say that please? Carn-Carmarvon, of your youth please. She wanted to refer to it. Wasn't able, thought, and to tell you haven't been able to go.

Never mind. She laughs and says it looks just the same. You are coming over again. You may not think so for a little while, but she thinks so, that you will be able to come, and go to what she calls Carn-please you know it. I need not say it again."
