The following is the story of Dagmar, a child care worker whose psychic awakening occurred about three years ago

All my life, I was a very intuitive person, but I had never had any clear psychic experiences. 'When I was thirty years old, my father died of pneumonia in our home. I was very saddened by the loss of my father because I had loved him very dearly.

About one week after he died, I was thinking about him while I was at work, and suddenly I saw my father standing there, in the corner of the room! My first reaction was delight. "Dad!  lt’s so good to see you!" I thought.

In a second or two, I realized he wasn’t physically there, that he had died - but I could still see him as clear as could be.

I sensed in my mind that my father was telling me that he was ok-that the death was nothing to fear. The vision lasted for about half an hour, then slowly disappeared. I was very happy to have had a chance to see my father again. But I was very confused, because I didn’t know how, or why it had happened. And even though I knew on one level it was real, I started to wonder if I might have been seeing things or if I was losing my mind.

I didn’t tell anybody about this for almost a year, because I was afraid that they would think I was crazy.

After that I started having many types of psychic experiences. They have included psychic visions, psychic dreams, and premonitions. One of my most dramatic psychic visions had to do with another death. About one year ago, my neighbour’s son died.  He was only three years old.

The entire family was grieving deeply over their tragic loss.  At the funeral, suddenly I could see the little boy standing there, behind his family, watching the funeral service. I could also see that he was not alone; he was accompanied by a number of beautiful beings that seemed to be made of light. He looked directly at me and smiled.

I thought about it carefully and decided to tell the boy’s mother what I had seen.  Right after the funeral I spoke with her and simply told her that I was absolutely sure her son was at peace and that others were caring for him. I was surprised at how much comfort she seemed to find in my words and, perhaps, by the conviction I felt. Later, when we were alone, I told her in detail about the psychic vision.

Since then she has thanked me over and over for telling her.

Experiences like this continue to happen to me. I have no idea why I suddenly started having them. At first, I was worried and was afraid I might be going crazy. Now I think these experiences are a gift and a part of my spiritual unfoldment.
