Very few people write about the after effects of a rebirth experience, but they can be profound.
Many with genuine experience of this type of experience profoundly change their way of thinking. Their priorities in life change, they care far less about material things, and often the driving ambition marking some men, disappears completely and is replaced by a general feeling that the ego driven life they led was utterly pointless.

Do you not understand?
That things are worth nothing
That what has value now, has no value
That what is paid for, is paid for in toil not reward
That possessions cannot give you joy
That ownership is only compensation
That we build castles of materialistic sand
To compensate for hovels of emotional poverty
Give up your worldly things
Come to me naked except for who you are
Start with me afresh
Free of all that sad worthless debris
Come to me as you are
For it is only you without your ties that I love
