In response to a letter in Psychic News in which I simply requested readers to send any experiences concerning hearing "astral music," Mrs. L. Opfolter-Hull sent me ( in litt. Nov. 8, 1968 ) the story of her grandmother's encounter.
When a young girl in India, in the'20's, my grandmother, then a woman in her 60's, told me of her experience just after giving birth to my mother; of floating up towards the most beautiful choir she had ever heard. She longed to go on until she found the choir, but her baby drew her back.
She had always loved harmonizing human voices, and would stop and listen whenever she- heard them, but that particular choir at her baby's birth was the most lovely-and unearthly.
