Croiset the Clairvoyant - Jack Harrison Pollack

Gerard Croiset's most sensational successes have been in finding missing children. His hundreds of documented achievements in furnishing accurate, useful information to parents and the police is a stubborn answer to skeptics who still doubt the existence of extrasensory perception. They illustrate his extraordinarily keen powers in all cases involving children.

When I asked the clairvoyant why, he shrugged as if it were an idiotic question, which indeed it was, to put to him.

"I have five children myself," he reminded me. Then he asked me a question: "What is more important in life than to find a missing child?" The gifted Dutchman had cut me down to size.

Sometimes a foolish question gets an answer it deserves.
