A description of the experience

Yassawi -  from HIKMET 34

At the thought of Judgment Day my mind is muddled,
Scared heart, scared spirit, my body in pieces,
Must conquer fear to cross the hair thin bridge of Sirat,
My mind departed, left startled, my friends.

Servant Hoja Ahmed, at forty, dissolve your self,
Shed tears, and enter clean on the other side,
The shell is likened to Shariat, as the kernel is to Tariqat,
Whoever steps into Tariqat receives their Lord's gift, my friends.

The source of the experience

Yassawi, Khoja Akhmet
