That the subject may carry out actions involving considerable skill is shown by one case in which a dentist extracted a tooth while in an OOB state. He stood and 'watched himself performing the operation' and says that his skill was not impaired [!].
His partner was present at the time, and would presumably have noticed if his skill had deteriorated. In this case, it is interesting to note that the subject spoke to his partner and told him of his condition while he was still in the OOB state
