He would look at Mum so lovingly, then quickly turn to the window and when looking through the window he appeared to be disbelieving. This looking at her and then looking through the window lasted for a few minutes - loving look to disbelieving look, while all the time he held the oxygen mask to his face. Suddenly it was over. He looked at Mum one last time, then he just closed his eyes and relaxed, the colour draining from his lips, as though someone had pulled, out a miniature plug. Dad was 50 years old,
There was something or someone he saw through that window that he knew meant his death. Something or someone waiting. I don't know what or who it was, but I am absolutely certain that he saw what we could not.
