Om to the one who leaps beyond all fear
Do, do the work within my heart
O Great Victor I hold on, hold on!
Of daring ones the most joyous, hail!
This mudra expresses fearlessness, inner peace and a willingness t accept whatever happens in complete oneness with the Dharmakaya. It is a statement of willingness to endure all things without fear in order to become one with the Lord of the House
Its primary use is when frightening events occur internally or externally. It assists one in one's resolve to go forward in spite of all the obstacles, with one's only real protections being faith in the buddhas and Bhodisattvas and the merit of one's own acts.
This mudra is an act of offering. It is an offering upwards of one's faith and steadfast purpose. It can have the effect of conferring peace of mind and security to others who are in fear.
When used during meditation it helps to gather the Waters of the Spiritual Fountain at the base of the spine and may create the sensation of some non material substance collecting there.
