A description of the experience

  1. yeah, i agree. i have had a good number of occasions where i've gotten flat out way too high. weed can **** with your mind, my friend. badly, sometimes. i've felt almost exactly like you felt before. when i smoke way too much herb at once, (even though it's physically harmless almost) i feel sometimes like my throat is closing up, and it also can feel like my heart either pounds REALLY hard or that i'm breathing really shallow and slow. i've of course hallucinated mildly on weed too, bud marijuana is infact a mild hallucinogenic drug, and in high doses eaten, it can produce CRAZY effects, i've even read a report about a guy who ingested 6 grams of potent hashish in brownies. he started seeing human-size crickets standing beside his bed makin noises and ****, and then he thought he was 8 years old with the measles and was hearing loud threatening voices all night and didn't get out of bed. never underestimate the hallucinogenic power of cannabis.

its easy to tell him to look at it as a fun thing instead of a scary thing, but trust me, its not a good feeling. It can get very scary, no matter how much you try to play it off. I used to get these weird head rushes, where there would be a deafeningly loud noise that just came out of nowhere. In retrospect, I think it was just that it was my heart pounding, or my blood flowing in my ears. Kinda like what you can hear if you put a shell up to your ear. It was a very scary experience.
