Background

MDOH, MDH

3,4-Methylenedioxy-N-hydroxyamphetamine  -  MDOH was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin.  In his book PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved), Shulgin lists the dosage range as 100-160 mg, and the duration as approximately 3-6 hours. He describes MDOH as being very psychedelic and producing increased pleasure in beauty and nature.

A description of the experience

Alexander Shulgin – PIHKAL – A Chemical Love Story

With 100mg of MDOH

The material came on fairly rapidly.  In about 30 minutes I was intensely intoxicated, and more deeply than with MDMA.  It was a glorious feeling and beauty was everywhere enhanced.  With eyes closed it felt marvellous and it was appealing to pursued the inner experience.  I did notice an internal dryness which was characteristic of MDMA and I had similar difficulty in urinating, but not as intense as MDMA

The source of the experience
