A description of the experience

Mon front est rouge encor du baiser de la reine;

I am the shadow - the widower - the inconsolable,
The Prince of Aquitaine to the tower abolished:
My only star is dead - and my constellated lute
Bears the black sun of Melancholy.

On the night of the tomb, you who consoled me,
Give me the Posillipo and the Italian sea,
The flower that so pleased my desolate heart
And the trellis where the vine is combined with rose.

Am I Love or Phoebus? ... Lusignan or Biron?
My forehead is still red from the kiss of the queen;
I dreamed in the cave where the siren swims ...

And I have, two time winner, crossed the Acheron:
Modulating in turn on Orpheus' lyre
The sighs of the saint and the cries of the fairy.
