Functional input

The spiritual world contains both Functions and Data [Database].  The functions are grouped into Systems.  The systems and functions are ‘programmed’ using the ‘Word’, as is the Database.

This means that all access to both of these has to be controlled and extracted for us by the Composer in order that we can understand it.  Thus Functional input is either information about the functions of the spiritual world [the universe] or the Functions themselves that has been extracted by the Composer, in order that it can provide us with a spiritual experience.

As human beings we are like a software package of very defined functions.  Some of the functions are shared with other animals, but we also have some unique ones – attributes – that enable us to say that we are human for example and not a chimpanzee or a dog.  Our ‘imagination’, for example, is quite probably unique to us as humans.  And our ability to ‘laugh’ seems to be unique to us.

Under normal circumstances, the only functions we can ‘experience’ are human being functions – love, joy, pain, sadness, imagination, laughing, crying and so on. 

What is very exciting about spiritual experience is that occasionally we can experience other functions – the rest of the functions of the universe. 

So we can experience what it feels like to be a rock, or a dog or a sea creature, a fish or even a plant.  There are examples on this web-site of people who have done just this.  And some people are lucky enough to be given access to functions that are clearly intended for human beings, but which few people have – functions that give them almost super human ability – the ability to paint in unique ways;  play the piano without having been taught; perform complex mathematical operations; remember dates, numbers, or facts with precision; and so on.

The Composer decides what we need at the time and the Composer finds the functions for us.

Maybe one day we will all be superman and superwoman.
