Obtaining spiritual experience - the conscious mind

The table below with all its links, describes all the activities that can be used to deal with the conscious mind in order to obtain a spiritual experience.  All of them work, all come with 'observations' [examples] to prove they work.  The observations are classified by type [eg vision, rebirth, hallucination, inspiration] to further help you decide.  The video provides an overview of what we are trying to achieve.

The aim is to subdue the Conscious mind, but you can do this either by overloading [O] these parts of the mind so that the functions give up, or by deliberately doing things which serve to suppress [S] the activity.  Only deliberate activities are shown here – actions.  There are other activities [events] that may accidentally achieve the same thing.  

All the parts of the mind need to be subdued one way or the other.  This means that combinations may be needed.  Thus every person can choose a set of actions suited to them.  The more desirous and egotistical the harder you may need to be with yourself.  The soft, gentle, timid, young and unsure should NEVER use overload.
